Cordes Junction is the interchange of Interstate I-17 and State Route 69.
Future plans include the construction of a new interchange, expected to begin summer of 2009.

Cordes Lakes is a subdivision located on the outskirts of Cordes Junction east of Interstate I-17. It consists of approximately 3600 residential lots, with about 1400 of those lots occupied.

The community features gently rolling land and panoramic mountain views. The elevation ranges from about 3500 to 4000. This makes Cordes Lakes an ideal, mild climate that rarely receives much, if any, snowfall; yet it enjoys a welcome escape from the heat of Phoenix.
